🏠Tattoo-Friendly Hotels & Ryokan in Mie

Yes. Tattoo GO lists 356 hotels & ryokan in Mie. For each one, you can see how many visitors with tattoos got in ("Got in") or had trouble ("Hmm…"), and read their reports.

Places with many "Got in" reports include Hotel maiko, Hotel and Restaurant Maki no Ki, Hotel Castle Inn Tamagaki. Reports come from visitors, so rules may have changed since.

It depends on the facility. Some visitors report getting in with a cover sticker or a towel over a small tattoo, while others were turned away. Check the reports on each page and the facility’s own rules before you go.

In Japan, tattoos have long been associated with organized crime, so many baths ban them regardless of who you are. More places now welcome visitors with tattoos, or allow them in private baths.
