Visitor reports(10)

  1. The other day there was someone with irezumi rising from their back down to their buttocks; it covered their whole back, way too much to hide with a towel.

  2. Got in

I often go from central Tokyo. If you mind your manners, nothing happens and you can relax. I cover my tattoos with a towel except when I'm soaking in the water.

  3. Got in

I could bathe like normal. There were other people with ink too. It's a rare place where you can get in like normal. Let's mind our manners lol

  4. You're free to feel how you feel, and I won't deny that, but I can't admire writing in such a condescending way. I think it's your manners that are lacking, spreading unpleasant energy toward people with tattoos (ordinary citizens) and toward this place. Let's make a tolerant world without prejudice that accepts all kinds of people.

  5. Did someone with tattoos do something to you? I think people without tattoos stand around with their arms crossed in the outdoor bath too, and I don't think people go out of their way to show them off. At least nobody around me is like that. Whether it's a public-private venture has nothing to do with it, and it seems like you're using that in a contemptuous way. That kind of discriminatory thinking is the most unpleasant thing of all.

  6. People with tattoos are residents of the city too. And I think this applies whether it's a public-private venture or not, but there are people who leave unpleasant comments, huh. People who jump to conclusions are the most unpleasant of all. I think everyone should have manners, tattoos or not.

  7. The staff were chatting happily with someone who had tattoos, so it seems to be OK, but as a resident I find it extremely offensive. It's a public-private venture, so knock it off. There are also guys standing tall in the outdoor bath showing them off, which is the worst. But the staff are in on it, so you can get in, hehe. Let's keep it covered when we go in.

  8. Got in

It doesn't say irezumi or tattoos are prohibited. The staff don't say anything either, so it's not a no, but there are people from the elderly to little kids, so you need to be considerate. It's rare to be able to get in with tattoos, so I think you should bathe with good morals.

  9. It looks like you can get in even if you have tattoos. That said, there are other guests around, and it's a rare onsen where you can get in even with tattoos, so if your tattoo is big, I think it's better to be considerate, like covering it with a cover sticker, so everyone can enjoy it comfortably. If people have bad manners, I think it's possible we won't be able to get in anymore, so I hope everyone acts with even just a little consideration.

  10. Got in

I live about 20 minutes away by car. I use it a lot. With a palm-sized tattoo, nobody says anything even if it's visible at the front desk, and there are no signs saying "No tattoos" or anything. But since it's a rare facility without a notice like that, please mind your manners when using it. Thanks.
