Since last year, there are more 'no tattoos' notices.
It's the first time I've been kicked out.
There were notices everywhere saying, "We firmly refuse entry to people with tattoos (including fashion tattoos and stickers)."
They're posted on the changing room lockers too.
It was fine as long as I hung a large sports towel over my shoulders and went in covering it, even if just for show.
Nobody came around to clean or patrol, so maybe I just happened to get in, but anyway, I could relax in the onsen without any problem.
