I went on 2026-4-19, and there was someone with heavy tattoos. I thought, "Oh? Is it no problem?" and went in partly covering mine with a towel. It wasn't written anywhere that people with tattoos aren't allowed, so it seems you can go in openly.
Got in
I asked the staff just in case, and they said they don't prohibit it in particular.
It's fine.
There were 4-5 foreigners, all with good manners and all with tattoos.
Got in
OK even without covering up.
I was in the bath chatting with the staff.
Got in
There was none of the usual "not allowed" signs at the entrance.
It's a port-town onsen, so fishermen come a lot.
Sailors are all pretty tough guys,
