Since they started allowing tattoos, the crowd has gotten rougher. Not everyone with tattoos is like this, but most of the guys with bad manners, like wringing out towels they wiped their sweat with inside the sauna, getting in the cold plunge without rinsing off their sweat, or talking loudly among their group, are the ones with tattoos. The other day I really couldn't let it slide and said something, and after that they pestered me persistently about three times, every time I came to the sauna.
It's Akishima, so it can't be helped, but there's nobody there but thugs, I got hassled, and I'm never going again.
It's the kind of sento where anything goes. There are lots of shady-looking people; it's not a good environment.
When I checked by phone, they said that from 2022/6/1, tattoos are OK with no covering at all.
As of 2021/2/5, there was a no-tattoos sticker on the entrance. Really disappointing that tattoos are a no even though it's a sento.
The bath is dirty!
When I checked by phone before, a woman told me, "You can come in even with tattoos," so I'm planning to go soon. She said a tattoo about the size of a pack of cigarettes is fine. Just for reference.
The management here is the worst.
Apparently they're in the bathhouse association, but I got kicked out. Lots of students, and it's dirty overall. It seems to be run by the animal hospital out back. They should leave the association.
