I think people with tattoos should check at the front desk. Isn't it because so many people lack common sense that they get banned?
Yamaguchi Onsen has it posted at the front desk. Tattoos are banned.
There was nothing posted in particular, so I bathed openly. There were lots of customers, but it was no problem.
There wasn't any notice in particular.
Tattoos were completely prohibited. I got turned away.
