  1. Got in

I use it at least 8 times a month, and I see irezumi every time. I've never seen anyone get warned either.

  2. Got in

I got in fine with a cover sticker, but there were also young people going in without covering up, so I'm not really sure. Maybe it depends on how crowded it is... it seems like they speak to people whose tattoos are clearly visible.

  3. Hmm…

I went in without saying anything, and they called the police.

  4. Hmm…

I checked by phone and was turned down.

  5. In the end, I think the staff decide based on how friendly the person with tattoos seems.

  6. Hmm…

I used to go once a week. I always made sure to go on days and times when there weren't many people around, but a staff member warned me. They said people with tattoos aren't allowed even if the tattoos aren't noticeable, so I'm banned from bathing from now on. The comments say the owner is tolerant, but it seems that even if the owner is tolerant, the staff aren't... There was no one else around when I was warned, though... So I guess it means that even if you get in, if they notice, the staff will warn you and you may be told you're banned from bathing... By the way, I'm too timid to make noise or do anything that bothers other people, so I don't think it was a matter of bad manners... I had moved here from another prefecture, it was relatively close to home, and I really liked it, so it was a shame, but I'd feel bad making other people uncomfortable, so I haven't been back since...

  7. Hmm…

It's on the website! "*We ask that people with tattoos refrain from entering." That's what it says. Let's follow the facility's rules. That's common sense as an adult.

  8. Got in

The owner here is very tolerant, and their view seems to be that even if you have tattoos, it's fine as long as you mind your manners. That said, on weekends, Sundays, and holidays there are lots of families with kids, so I think it's considerate for people with tattoos to choose times or days when it's less crowded. I have tattoos all over too, and I make a point of not exposing them in the hall or the rest area. The staff seem to pick up on that kind of consideration, and they're really friendly to me. It's a very homey onsen.

  9. Hmm…

You can use the building. The baths are a no.
