I have a traditional Japanese tattoo on one arm, but nobody cared at all and I got in easily. There were other customers with tattoos bathing too.
You can get in if you stay overnight. But it's 20,000 to 40,000 yen a night.
I asked by phone, and they said people with tattoos are refused.
