I'm the one who wrote it was a no earlier, but it turns out I had the wrong Yoro Onsen, and they said it's fine. Sorry. You can get in!
There were lots of reviews saying you can get in, so I wanted to go, but when I checked by phone it was a total no. They said all 3 (?) Yoro Onsen locations turn people away.
Just in case, I called the front desk to ask, and they said, "Totally fine! No need to cover them with cover stickers either," so I went and bathed. Being able to go in without covering up was the best! I want to go again.
At the front desk I asked, "I have tattoos, is that OK?" and they just answered, "Yes, sure," like it was nothing. By the way, my tattoos go all the way to the backs of my hands.
I checked by phone and it was OK. I went in openly without covering up! It was really great.
I asked by phone, they said tattoos are OK, so I went!
I paid with a faint tattoo peeking out from my arm, but nobody said anything and I went right in!
You can definitely get in.
We kindly asked if it is okay to enter with a tattoo and the guy at the reception said that it is completely fine. So I could enjoy the very beautiful onsen. (I have a full sleeve of flowers ony right arm)
It's OK, like at a sento.
