  1. Hmm…

Apparently you can't get in anymore.

  2. Hmm…

I went at the end of May 2023 (Reiwa 5). There are signs all over saying tattoos are a no. I'd gone once after the renovation, and I didn't see anyone else with tattoos besides us, and the staff told me to make this my last time.

  3. I went in after the renovation, but it's become a slightly uncomfortable place to be.

  4. Hmm…

After the renovation, it's become a place that's a bit harder for people with tattoos to get into.

  5. Hmm…

Someone who seemed to be the manager warned me: "This time is OK, but no more." There are now "No irezumi" POP signs here and there in the facility that weren't there before. It's been renovated, so I guess it can't be helped... Thank you for everything up to now!

  6. Hmm…

People with irezumi get kicked out.

  7. Hmm…

Seems like since the renovation, people with tattoos aren't allowed anymore.

  8. Hmm…

When I went after it reopened in December, someone who looked like the manager told me, "This time it's OK, but please don't come again."

    The best onsen.

  1. Does it still seem to be fine now?

  2. Got in

There's a sign saying tattoos are refused, but they turn a blind eye, and you see the odd bather with tattoos here and there. It's a fun, retro place.

  3. Got in

They turn a blind eye. There's also a lot of steam, so it blends in a bit.

  4. Got in

They've been turning a blind eye for a long time. That's why I've been going for years. Even after moving to Sapporo, I still go quite often.

  5. Got in

I go in without covering up.

  6. Hmm…

    They'll turn you away.

  7. Got in

There was a no-tattoo sign in the changing room, but they tacitly let it slide. The sauna is low-temperature, and the cold plunge isn't very cold.

  8. Got in

    It's fine!
