🏠Tattoo-Friendly Pools in Kanagawa

Yes. Tattoo GO lists 61 pools in Kanagawa. For each one, you can see how many visitors with tattoos got in ("Got in") or had trouble ("Hmm…"), and read their reports.

Places with many "Got in" reports include 横浜市 川辺公園プール, 横浜市 鶴ケ峰本町公園プール, 横浜市 大貫谷公園プール. Reports come from visitors, so rules may have changed since.

It depends on the facility. Some visitors report getting in with a cover sticker or a towel over a small tattoo, while others were turned away. Check the reports on each page and the facility’s own rules before you go.

In Japan, tattoos have long been associated with organized crime, so many baths ban them regardless of who you are. More places now welcome visitors with tattoos, or allow them in private baths.
