🏠Tattoo-Friendly Tanning Salons in Kanagawa

Yes. Tattoo GO lists 20 tanning salons in Kanagawa. For each one, you can see how many visitors with tattoos got in ("Got in") or had trouble ("Hmm…"), and read their reports.

Places with many "Got in" reports include ザ・サンラウンジ横浜西口店, ザ・サンラウンジ大和店, ザ・サンラウンジ川崎店. Reports come from visitors, so rules may have changed since.

It depends on the facility. Some visitors report getting in with a cover sticker or a towel over a small tattoo, while others were turned away. Check the reports on each page and the facility’s own rules before you go.

In Japan, tattoos have long been associated with organized crime, so many baths ban them regardless of who you are. More places now welcome visitors with tattoos, or allow them in private baths.
