Tattoos are basically a no everywhere, come on.
They turn you away even for a finger tattoo. Too bad, since it's my local one. I think staff motivation varies by location. I also have one about 10 cm on my shoulder. At the Tsuchiura location, nobody said anything.
My tattoo is about the size of a pack of cigarettes, and I went in covering it with a towel. I finished bathing without any trouble, but while I was drying my hair, a cleaning staff member warned me and told me to leave right away, so I left right away.
