They said it's fine all day. It was all older lady regulars, so at first I felt out of place, but before long they surrounded me and started chatting with me, like, "That ink is so cute! Didn't it hurt?" I really appreciated the welcoming vibe.
My husband and I go a lot. According to him, every time there are lots of people with full-body tattoos in the men's bath, and in the women's bath I hardly ever see anyone without tattoos. It's a small sento, but I recommend it!
The specialty is a medicinal bath blended from many kinds of medicinal herbs. Tattoos OK all day.
